A Leading Hotel Chain in the Middle East is sourcing potential candidates for their first opening property in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, Erbil.
Positions are as listed below:
· Executive Assistant Manager
(basic salary offered is between 3,500$ - 4,500$ plus other benefits)
We prefer to have an Arabic speaking candidate with Middle East background and with previous work experiences as a Front Office Manager in a large 5 star property (250 rooms and above) or as a Rooms Division Manager or someone currently in the same role in charge of rooms in a 4 or 5 star property for a minimum of 2 years.
To keep in mind that the possibility of being developed to a General Manager position within 18 to 24 months from the opening of the hotel is quite high for a potential candidate of this role.
· Financial Controller
(basic salary offered is between 3,400$ - 4,250$ plus other benefits) Ideally the candidate must be Arabic speaking and currently employed in the same position or as an Assistant Financial Controller for a minimum of 2 years. Middle East work experience is highly preferred.
. Director of Food & Beverage Manager
(basic salary offered is 3,000$ plus other benefits) Candidate should have experience as an Asst. F&B Manager in a large 5 star property, with a minimum of 6 outlets and an 800 pax ballroom, in the Gulf or Asia.
Or Experienced as an F&B Manager in a 4 to 5 stars property in Europe with a minimum of 3 outlets and 250 pax ballrooms
Or Background with 5 stars property in Asia or Gulf with a minimum of 4 outlets and 350 pax ballroom. (Room service and pool bar are counted as outlets).
If candidate has hotel education background (Diploma or Degree), minimum experience in the above stated positions should be 2 years.
If candidate had no such educational background minimum experience has to be 4 years.
Could be any nationality, no language restriction. Preferably worked in countries with Arabic Culture.
Possibility to be promoted as EAM i/c of F&B within 18 to 24 month as the EAM i/c of Rooms will be possibly promoted to GM.
. Executive Chef
Candidate should have experience as Executive Sous-chef in large 5 stars property, with a minimum of 6 outlets and an 800 pax ballroom, in Gulf or Asia. Or experience as Executive Chef in a 4 to 5 stars property in Europe with a minimum on 3 outlets and 250 pax ballrooms or 5 stars property in Asia or Gulf with a minimum of 4 outlets and 350 pax ballroom. (Room service and pool bar are counted as outlets).
If candidate has a hotel education background, (Diploma or degree) minimum experience in the above stated positions should be 2 years. If candidate has, no such an educational background minimum experience has to be 3 years.
Preferably worked in countries with Arabic Culture.

. Chief Engineer
Preferably, candidate should have experience as Assistant position in large five stars property with a minimum of 250 rooms, in Gulf or Asia. Alternatively, the candidate could have experience as a department head in a four stars property in Europe with a minimum of 130 rooms or five stars property in Asia or Gulf with a minimum of 130 rooms. However, as both jobs are very technical and not hotel specific, both candidates could have worked in similar positions or as assistant positions in related industries and not necessary the hospitality industry for 2 to 3 years experience
For the Chief Engineer preferably, Arabic speaking, as he might need to communicate with only Arabic speaking staff in the beginning, but this is not a necessity.
Both should have related educational background.
In case candidates are from outside the hospitality industry, 2 to 3 weeks exposure in one of our properties in UAE could be arranged.
Preferably worked in countries with Arabic Culture.

. Employee Development Manager
Candidate should have experience as Asst. in large five or four stars property, with a minimum of 300 staff in Gulf or Asia. On the other hand, experience as EDM in a 4 to 5 stars property with a minimum on 175 staff. In both cases, candidate should have experience in hotel chain that have reliable and proven development plan, with emphasis on structured trainings.
No specific nationality, but preferably Arabic speaking, as he or she has to deal with a large amount of staff with limited English capabilities.
Worked in countries with Arabic Culture is necessary if he or she is not of an Arabic nationality.
OFFERED SALARY USD 2100/- negotiable based on experience
. Executive Housekeeper
(basic salary offered is 2,850$ plus other benefits) Candidate should have experience as Asst. Executive Housekeeper in large 5 stars property with a minimum of 250 rooms, in Gulf or Asia.
Or Experienced as an Executive Housekeeper in a 4 stars property in Europe with a minimum of 130 rooms.
Or Background with 5 stars property in Asia or Gulf with a minimum of 130 rooms.
If candidate has hotel education background (Diploma or Degree) minimum experience in the above stated positions should be 1.5 years.
If candidate had no such educational background minimum experience has to be 3.5 years.
Preferably Arabic speaking as he might need to communicate with only Arabic speaking staff in the beginning, but not necessarily.
Worked or working in countries with Arabic culture is a must. Male candidates preferred.
